This year I decided to compile a list of my favourite endometriosis wellness products to help you give the perfect present to a loved one who struggles with endometriosis. And if you are the one who has endometriosis, the products below will help in your own self-care.

The products were chosen to support, comfort and help in a health journey of your loved one or you.

1. Hormone Friendly Herbal Tea & Infuser Gift Set

Drinking specific herbal teas daily is a perfect way to add extra nutrients needed to reduce inflammation, increase energy, or reduce the bloat and stress. Female Tonic tea is perfect for heavy periods and is high in iron which is usually low in women with endometriosis. The packaging is so beautiful and the addition of the glass infuser makes it such a thoughtful gift.

2. Matcha Tea Set

A lot of women who live with endometriosis don’t drink coffee as it can add up to a stress response and cause more inflammation. Matcha tea, on the other hand, is high in antioxidants and polyphenols to fight inflammation. It also has less caffeine than coffee so it gives a gentler boost of energy in the morning. On top of that, there is something magical about preparing matcha tea in a traditional way using a small whisk in a ceramic cup.

3. Essential Oils

Essential oils in a water diffuser not only smell beautifully at home, but can also be very soothing, grounding and refreshing. Lavender oil is especially known for its soothing and calming properties. If you don’t want to use a diffuser you can add an oil to epsom salts to soak in the tub. I sometimes use it on my temples where my pressure point is. It’s a good way to get relaxed and de-stressed.

4. Period Pants

There are so many benefits of using period underwear for women with endometriosis. They are basically knickers with a waterproof layer. They are perfect for a heavy flow and can also give that extra coverage if menstrual cups or tampons are also used. It is an environmentally friendly choice too.

5. Epsom Salt Bath Soak

Warm epsom salt bath may relieve pain mainly by “detoxifying” or delivering magnesium. Magnesium has been called a miracle mineral for periods as it can relax muscles and reduce pain. Having a regular bath is a great way to relax and soothe the nervous system. Eco Bath London salts also have neroils, geranium and chamomile essential oils in them for that extra bit of relaxation.

6. Yoga or/and Pilates Online Class Membership

Research suggests that yoga and breathing techniques are beneficial in alleviating pelvic pain in women with endometriosis. Pilates and yoga can be a fantastic way to help relax and stretch muscles in a pelvic floor area. They are also low impact so they do not put extra pressure on the nervous system. Yoga or pilates membership can be a great gift. I really like Lottie Murphy for pilates and Cat Meffan for yoga.

 7. Gluten free & dairy free healthy snacks

A lot of women with endometriosis don’t eat dairy or gluten. Yumbles has a great selection of dairy gluten free artisan makers from the UK. A perfect gift for a Christmas stockings. They also sell beautiful gift hampers!

 8. Long Hot Water Bottle

This one is an essential tool when in pain! Many women have found hot water bottles or heat pads useful in easing the endometriosis flare pain. You can tie this water bottle around your waist and it stays warm for hours.

 9. Acupressure Mat

This is my most recent discovery. Acupressure mats come with hundreds of prickly plastic circles that feel like needles. They work similarly to acupuncture and help with a number of issues including headaches, stress, insomnia. Initial pain when the skin touches the needles changes into a soft warm feeling after a while and really helps in relaxation of the full body. I use it daily before sleep.

 10. Oura Ring

The Oura Ring is a wedding-band-like sleep tracker that collects data about your body, activity, and sleep using optical heart-rate monitoring, a common technology in fitness trackers. The newest version can be a helpful tool for spotting changes in your entire body during a menstrual cycle by delivering accurate, personalized resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), respiratory rate, sleep, and body temperature measurements. By understanding all these metrics we are able to predict a period coming and also a potential flare up. Read more about here

All the gift ideas are a prefect way to show someone with endometriosis that you care which is so needed in this “invisible” for so many condition. These gifts also remind your loved ones to focus on their self-care too.

I hope you liked them.
